Business Continuity and Serving Our Clients during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear valued client,

Following the announcements by both state and federal governments over the last 24 hours, ID Accounting & Wealth Solutions has adapted our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to concerns around transmission of the virus we have decided to close our office to clients immediately. This is not a decision we have taken lightly but we believe it is in the best interests of our clients, our staff and the community at large. At this stage we are still working, and so we are still contactable by phone and email. In the short term we have cancelled or rescheduled some appointments with clients to take place at some time in the future using whatever means are available. This will include telephone meetings and video meetings via software such as Zoom. If you have had your upcoming appointment cancelled then please know that we will be in touch to discuss a new appointment soon.

Over the coming days some of our staff will start to work from home. This will result in minimal disruption to our service in terms of the processing of tax returns, activity statements, etc. At some times, and with some processes, there will be some complications or delays. We ask that you work with us when these issues arise, and understand that everyone is doing their best to provide the highest level of service possible.

Unfortunately our telephone system is not set up to accommodate direct contact with staff who are not in the office, and we do not intend to ask our staff to provide their personal mobile phone numbers to clients. If you need to speak to us, we encourage you to phone 5221 1000 and speak to Haylee or Samantha at reception. They will be able to organise to put you in touch with the relevant staff member.

As everyone is now acutely aware, we are operating in a rapidly changing landscape, so our response today may not be our response next week, or even tomorrow. We will keep everyone updated as things evolve. If you use Facebook please find us there; it will be one of the channels we use to keep our clients updated on what we’re up to, and also an important medium for delivering information on measures and incentives announced by governments in response to COVID-19.
